I Look Like Jesus

I had something written up about this but Tumblr thought it’d be cool to delete it. Party foul! But anyway, here are the words. I dreamed them up in bed while Kates played Oblivion. Hence the Oblivion reference. And this morning I realized that there is a They Might Be Giants song with the lyric “I look like jesus, so they say”. Oh well, mine’s differentz.

Time to get a sidekick, time to get a mascot.
Time to find a fall guy, to take it like a champ.

Time to learn some magic, or drink some holy water.
They say I look like Jesus, so let’s go drink some wine.

7 million thousand people said they thought of it first, and they did.
It’s not about ideas, but execution of said ideas.
800 million billion people have invented the earth, and they did.
Over and over, and over. And over.

Time to play some xbox, i’ll close oblivion gates.
Those games are sixty dollars, there’s always batur shroobz.

Time to start a business, a feat of engineering.
So get me on the fast track, I’ll be the president.
