The new album is coming along nicely. Some of the songs you’ve already heard if you’ve paid any attention to the daily songs from the past year. I’m doing another round of songs now, some of which may end up in some form or another on the new album. I’m having a bit of writer’s block but the daily songs always seem to cure that. I Look Like Jesus
I had something written up about this but Tumblr thought it’d be cool to delete it. Party foul! But anyway, here are the words. I dreamed them up in bed while Kates played Oblivion. Hence the Oblivion reference. And this morning I realized that there is a They Might Be Giants song with the lyric “I look like jesus, so they say”. Oh well, mine’s differentz.
